[“Don’t worry so much.”...

One minute Siri was on Azure, dying, DEAD, and the next she... wasn't. She should be. But she wasn't. She was lying on the ground in a forest, of all places. Not a large one, there was a building close by - she could sense its inhabitants, although she didn't pay them any mind at the moment, too lost in the shock of arrival. Of dying. Drawing a sharp, desperate breath (not panicking; Jedi didn't panic. Not even dead ones), she faltered in rising to her feet. The sharp throb of pain in her shoulders; different from what she had been feeling not a moment ago, had her twisting around in an attempt to pinpoint the cause.

All she could do was STARE.]

KRIFF.

[Wings. She had wings. And they were blue. Force, now she knew she couldn't be dead. Unless becoming one with the Force was far stranger from what she'd been told... Not that that HELPED matters any. Or made her any less uneasy.

Or changed the simple fact that she SHOULD be dead. She exhaled unsteadily and forced herself to her feet, her wings flaring and ruffling in mirror to her emotions. Confusion, and the panic she was denying. First things first. She needed to find out where she was, what had happened. Then she could deal with... everything else. ]

[It’s likely that, later, once the shock of everything has worn off and she’s started dealing with… everything, that she might begin to feel similarly. Familiar faces, and people from their galaxy… will help a great deal. But right now the shock of death and arrival has pushed that aside.]

Well. As far as you know you're not related to anyone who's already here.

The best theory is that when this world goes through "shifts", time and space bend. When that happens, it grabs people from their worlds and deposits them here, unconscious. As for why we are given wings, I've yet to discover that answer.

[She feels a brief flash of sympathy for this woman. Coming to Luceti was hard enough for tge living. She can't imagine winding up hete when you thought you were dead.]

"This is... well, the center of the village. It's not much more than you can see- small, less technologically advanced than what we're used to, sparsely inhabited. It's nearlyat the center of the enclosure, which makes navigation a bit easier."

[It’s easy to fall into familiar habits without much conscious thought, particularly with Obi-Wan. She’s known him a long time. She looks at him.]

[Which means it had been, and he doesn’t want to dwell on it. It’s so painfully him that something loosens in her chest at the familiarity of it. It’s still difficult to breathe and she still feels… wrong, uncertain, but maybe, just maybe, it won’t be as overwhelming as it is right now. Not with Obi-Wan there to frustrate her, get on her nerves, and otherwise distract her.

She sighs, softly, fingers unconsciously pressing against the spot on her chest where she’d been shot.]

[Well, it was something. As much an explanation as she could expect, given the circumstance. She gives the other woman a nod and a small, crooked smile.]

[Her face says it all. It’s a combination of ‘you’ve got to be kidding me’ and ‘are you serious?’, with a touch of ‘for star’s sake’ and a healthy dose of resignation to the fact that this is her life, now. Or whatever this is.

If this place can attach wings like it’s nothing I suppose it could pull non-existent relatives out of nowhere, too. [Stang.] Something to look forward to. [The sarcasm is strong with this one.]

[Leia does a quick count in her head to answer Siri. Han, Luke, Anakin, Padmé, Obi-Wan, herself, and Ahsoka.]

I've had a remarkable number of long dead in-laws turn up here.

[Okay, he's had two. That is still a remarkable number. Most of the time one long dead in-law doesn't turn up.]

[That’s... a good point, actually. But the way he talks makes it sounds as though dead in-laws have been popping up out of the ground like hydenock trees.]

[It’s not as though she has anywhere to go back to. But she’s curious how long everyone else has been there.]

Four. Only her biological parents are here though.

[Unfortunately. He's pretty sure things would be slightly less awwward with Bail Organa than Anakin Skywalker.]

[That, at least, makes sense. It makes more kriffing sense than almost anything else about this place. But they existed, to be brought here. It would have to create beings to fill any sort of familial role, for her. By blood, at least. The closest they could manage out of the people in her life would be Adi. Or Ferus.]

When are they from, in our world?

[All the obvious reference points are possibly from her future. So he take a moment to think back a couple systems of calendar.]

About 15 years after the Great Resynchronization.

[It's definitely not a small number, but it feels a little...nice to have so many semi-familiar faces around the enclosure.]

This is my second time being here, but I've stayed for over a month this time. It can be common for some to come and go often while others stay for years.

I've spoken to a young man who has been here for five years. He was fifteen when he first arrived.

[She’s surprised that they’re from a point similar to hers, for some reason. She’s not sure why.]

What are their names?

[Eight. Eight people from their galaxy. It’s... oddly reassuring. Even if she doesn’t know any of them. Although she (hopes) thinks... suspects she knows at least one. Or two.]

Your first time here wasn’t that long?

[Leia is lucky in the fact that she's related to three of those people, married to another, and knows of two others. It's only this woman she doesn't know anything about.]

No, it was for a few weeks, nearly a year ago. Just enough for me to find out what this place is but not long enough to really learn anything. This time I've been here for nearly twice the length of my original visit.

[No one has told him that the fact that Anakin Skywalker ultimately had children is cause for such note. Even if he's certainly more comfortable with one of them than the other.]
